Welcome to Eileen's Online Studio

Sharing the path of a creative life brings me joy. Through water media and mixed media, I create artwork inspired by the natural energy I experience as I observe the changing seasons of life and nature. My journey as a curious creator is shaped by my experiences, influences, and constant exploration. I bring these elements into my paintings, mixed media pieces, and fine art printmaking. I invite you to visit my Gallery Page and explore my work.

A NEW BOOK BY EILEEN BLODGETT and L. GIANFORTE - ON AMAZON

Our children’s book The Ladybugs’ Adventure: A Book of Numbers by L. Gianforte and Eileen Blodgett is now available to purchase on Amazon. See the “Learn More” button below. It is available at Wild Birds Unlimited and Art Works Gallery in Grass Valley, at Eileen’s Studio, and SPD Market in Nevada City.

How this counting story came to be:

“Despite the advice from a very famous author/illustrator to "...never begin a story book with the illustrations", Eileen Blodgett did just that. The 20 illustrations were first created as a visual story for an art exhibit. It wasn't until later that the illustrations were presented to friend and author, L. (Elle) Gianforte, to review for a possible storybook and The Ladybugs' Adventure was given a wonderful new direction.”

Follow the adventures of Lorelei the ladybug and her friends as they explore life beyond their garden. Delight in the encounters that teach them how differences make the world a richer and more colorful place. Encourage your little one to count the ever-growing number of ladybugs as they fluff up their wings and flutter across the pages on their enlightening and inspiring journey.
